If just as Dave turned around John zapped away again.
I dunno man, Hussie has teased them meeting so many times that I’m always suspicious.
I really love it when the kids refer to each other as brother or sister. I dunno, it just makes me really happy. Maybe it’s because they’ve only technically been siblings for 3 years? Before that, they were just friends. And then they went through hell together and became closer and grew together as siblings and laskjdlsjdsaj I love it.
I mean, usually.
The fact that Jade wants to kidnap and/or murder her brother puts a damper on the current situation.
The thing with Homestuck now is that it’s just really fucking tense.
I mean, we’ve got two of our main girls brainwashed and scary as fuck. Two of our other heroes captured. One hero MIA, another floating out in the furthest ring disconcertingly close to an overpowered stabby maniac. Then the other groups of heroes is all split up, one is glitching, and another is being sketchy.
Then, we’ve got a psycho murderclown still unaccounted for, a bunch of dead trolls that will probably somehow be really relevant, a treasure whose ultimate purpose has yet to be revealed, and a dead cherub that needs to be found again so she can get the life ring.
Plus we don’t know when Caliborn will hijack the narrative again, or when LE himself will come to fuck shit up.
And we haven’t seen PM and Bec Noir in ages.
Basically, it’s like the climax of a manga, where a million things are happening and everything’s getting exciting but you still only get 20 pages or so a week and it’s just not enough and god your stress levels are through the roof.
I’m not bitching about update time or anything. I know Hussie works his butt off. But that doesn’t change the fact that each update has me biting my nails desperately wanting the next one to come.
I want to see all the ‘Crockers’ together so badly. Like, I love the idea of the Condesce specifically targeting John and Jake along with the girls because it’s not just their powers that she’s after, but also the fact that in other universes they were all her children.
And in the glitchy part at the end of the flash, there’s a scene where it looks like Jane dragging John.

I don’t know when the next update is coming but I can’t wait god I missed Homestuck and this upd8 was great. Hussie at his sassiest.
